Author Steven W. Horn was in Iowa promoting When Good Men Die, the highly anticipated second novel in his Sam Dawson Mystery series. Horn was born and spent his early years in Clinton, Iowa before graduating from Camanche High School. He then went to Colorado for college and to pursue a career path that lead him to be dean of the College of Agriculture at the University of Wyoming and now Professor Emeritus.

On March 30, the Chocolaterie Stam in Ames hosted book signing.  Photo with Terry Stark, owner.  Wine tasting along with music by local classical pianist Paul Hertz were part of the fun.

 

The next day author Steven W. Horn participated in a discussion at the Huxley, Iowa public library with members of a local book club on the first book in the Sam Dawson Mystery Series, The Pumpkin Eater.  The author donated a signed copy of his latest release, When Good Men Die, to the rural library.  Cathy Van Maanen accepted for the library.

On April 1, the author headed to his hometown of Clinton, Iowa to  a book signing held at Eastman House Furniture.  Susan G. Richeson, the owner, hosted book signing.  Joan Ross, former classmate of Horns’ from Camanche High School, spearheaded the event and pizza party following the book signing with friends.
