Topics ranged from how does the author come up with these plots, who was Trapper, how does the author come up with names and places in the novels, how do you balance not giving away the ending with having clues in the story
Reading this book caused some members to have already read some of the other ones in the series and most said they planned to read more. Well-written, keeps the reader reading. One member specifically said she had trouble putting Steve’s mysteries down once she started one.
Horn really enjoyed the discussion with the group. This is his first in-person book club since COVID-19 started. He has had some other book club discussions on his mysteries via conference call during the pandemic.
